Premium pre-washed coconut husk chips are an excellent supplement to orchid bark, with a life expectancy of up to 3 years. These husks are thoroughly cleaned using fresh water only, no salt residue remains, so there’s no need to rinse before use. Coconut husks retain more moisture than bark and feature a fibrous texture that promotes aeration around plant roots.
